The Neem strongly identify themselves as Muslim, however much of religion is blended with traditional African religious rites. Fear of evil spirits, curses and the ‘evil eye’ is common. Many of these religious rituals are practiced with little or no understanding of their actual meaning. Pray for local believers and missionaries to be bold in sharing the gospel truth of salvation by faith alone, not by works. Pray that this truth will break the Neem people’s bondage to empty traditions and give them a desire to pursue Jesus Christ as their Saviour.
