Helping your church send missionaries

We can help you:

  • Grow a shared passion for mission.
  • Partner and pray for existing mission work.
  • Pioneer a new project in partnership with other churches.
  • Run a course like Into Africa and MomentumYes.
  • Help you assist those who feel a call to mission.

How we can help churches like yours

Prayer
We invite church leaders to our prayer times, so that we can get to know them and their church better. That helps us to pray and support what you are already doing. It is a real privilege and joy to be able to pray and support you and your church.

Resources
Bible studies, magazines, Sunday school materials, service outlines, prayer material and more, designed to help busy church leaders envision and equip their congregations and church members.

Courses
It can be hard to know how to engage small groups, whole churches or individuals. We can help you run courses that work well together like MomentumYes, or for individuals like our Into Africa course.

Mission Advisors
Our friendly, experienced mission advisors can help you:

  1. Raise the profile of global mission in your church.
  2. Develop a mission plan and strategy.
  3. Act as a mentor and encourager to those considering serving as missionaries themselves.

Understanding the steps involved in sending people

When an individual, couple or family senses God’s call to missions, what happens next?

  1. The first step is for them to discuss it with their church leaders.

  2. It is also wise to pray intentionally with a small group of trusted Christian friends. Agencies like AIM can help by speaking into the discernment process, providing information on ministry opportunities and approaches to mission.

  3. Both the enquiry and application process are part of the discernment process. Once established, the focus turns to equipping and finding the best ministry for them to be a part of.
