Short Term

Kerry Laffey is a short term missionary serving as a teacher at Rift Valley Academy in Kijabe, Kenya. “Term 2 has got off to a wonderful start! I was up early enough on the first day of term to see a beautiful sunrise over the valley. It is great to have all my kids back in class, two of them are now on home assignment and one boy has just returned from home assignment in the UK. I am so thankful to be able to spend each day with them and they provide lots of entertainment! We try and make the most of the sunny days and have been doing many of our lessons outside. Some of outdoor lessons include filming a news report, diary writing, finding the area of different zones and lots of different science investigations… Thank God for the safe return of our staff and students after the break, and please pray for the 22 students in my class. There are a lot of prayer requests each day, particularly for sleep at night. Pray that God will meet each of their individual needs, and that they will recognise him as their Lord and Saviour.”
