The Focus team serving among the Karimojong arrived in Uganda for the first time two weeks ago: “There have been a lot of changes in the past two weeks. A change of continent, a change of role from my day-to-day normal, a change in home, a change in temperature (and these are just the tip of the iceberg). Change takes time to process and get used to and can feel tiring and overwhelming. Remember each of us in the team as we all adjust to the changes we face. It has been lovely to meet Bruce & Christine, and Paul & Helen along with their three beautiful girls – Esme, Martha and Tabitha. I’m looking forward to getting to know each of them better over the coming months and years. The girls have all been amazing so far with all the changes and been a wonderful encouragement to me.” Praise God that the team have arrived safely, are finding their feet, and are already being an encouragement to each other. Please pray for God to sustain them as they learn and process all the changes that are happening, and for good relationships to form between them. Please also pray for the team are at Africa Based Orientation until 7th February, before starting their work among the Karimojong.
