Pierre-Alain & Emmanuelle Luder

“We are pleased that despite the rice planting season, literacy lessons are continuing. At first, we had up to 34 people and then it stabilized at 24. Since people depart daily to go to the fields, there are about fifteen people at each meeting. But they bring notebooks of absences, so they do not fall behind. We are encouraged to see them motivated; they are progressing well and are now able to read short texts! …We are in lesson 20 of the 32 that we offer. Then we will work on directly adapting stories of the Old Testament and the programme will be finished by Easter. So far, there is only one teacher who is staying in Madagascar, but we’d love to delegate the teaching to people who have trained with us. It’s something that you can be praying for.”
