Kay is currently in the UK on Medical Leave. “Over the past year, I can look back and see how God has been teaching me more about trusting and leaning on him throughout this period of illness… It’s been a tough year in many ways, but I’ve felt OK because I’ve felt surrounded, upheld and guided through it, knowing and feeling peace that God is in control… Since returning home, I’ve enjoyed being able to serve in our church coffee shop a couple of days a week, and loved being able to meet and chat with those that pop in. I’ve also been able to do some preparation for a leadership course I hope to be on, and it’s been great to have extended time to do this (time I probably wouldn’t have got on the Islands). If it becomes clear that I’m not yet ready to return to the Islands in August, please pray for wisdom about how to best use my time at home.”
