“I am so grateful to God for providing all sorts of people to advise and encourage me as I navigate my way through this transition time. Because I am preparing for a new assignment, I am also spending quite a lot of time in preparation for both the language learning and teaching elements of my new role… I will be heading to Chad in January. During my first six months I will learn French with a tutor, help at the school, practice French in the afternoons and adjust to the new culture and climate. In August I will commence teaching full time at the school… I can clearly see how this allows me to focus on my ministry to the children and also keep in mind the bigger picture of living for Jesus in Chad, communicating well with those I live amongst and becoming part of the team there.”
