Edward* serves in a closed country where there are very few Christians. Give thanks that a man he knows has chosen to put Christ above his own desires and has chosen not to marry a woman of another religion, despite encouragement from others. Pray that his example will inspire other local believing men to put Christ first over temptations to conform to their culture. Pray also for Edward, as he pursues opportunities to share the gospel with two of his colleagues who he has newly befriended.
