“After two months ‘on the road’ at different locations, having learned many new things about Mozambique and meeting interesting people, I returned to Pemba on 10th April with a thankful heart… ever since I got back, plenty has been going on here. I finally started teaching at the Colégio Teológico de Pemba on 18th April – I was so nervous with everything being in Portuguese. The second lesson was much more relaxed and by the time the third came around, I actually enjoyed myself. God is just amazing and grants lots of language mercies (as do the students).” Praise God for an encouraging start to Verena’s teaching, and please pray for continued improvement for her Portuguese and God’s guidance in her lesson planning.
