“Rivo is one of two Malagasy vets working in the Mandritsara district, an area half the size of Wales, and home to the large sabotsibe cattle market (pronounced“sa-but-see-bay;” meaning ‘big Saturday’) which takes place here in Mandritsara every fortnight… We are keen to support Rivo as she seeks ways to share her faith in Jesus with the many people that she comes into contact with. Many of those coming to Mandritsara during these cattle market weekends come from very isolated communities where there is no gospel witness. Reaching out to those coming to sabotsibe is also part of the vision of the recent Baptist church plant here in the part of town where the Good News Hospital is situated.” Please pray that Rivo will be a great witness to those she meets at the cattle market, and for the Baptist church’s work to reach those at sabotsibe.
