Make a thanksgiving spinner

What’s changed in your life since last Christmas? Have you grown any taller? Are you still at the same school? Do you have any new friends? Use our Thanksgiving Spinner to help you remember and give thanks to God for all the good things that have happened this year.

Don’t forget to talk to him about the difficult things too, or pray about things in the future that worry you.

How to make a Thanksgiving spinner

  1. Print out the download
  2. On the bottom bit draw or write six things you are thankful for.
  3. Then colour or decorate both pieces.
  4. Cut out the shapes and line them up, making sure you can see your designs in the gap on the top piece.
  5. Push a split pin through the middle of both pieces to join them together. If you don’t have a pin you could try hanging it on some string.
  6. Spin the top around to pick something to give thanks for. Next time you pray, use your spinner to help you and your family to pray.
