Ruth Mahood

“It was a joy to be able to speak at the AIM Scottish conference and update folk in Dundee, Shetland, Inverness, Aberdeen and London on what God has been doing in my life over the past year. It was lovely to spend time chatting with so many who have held me in prayer so faithfully. I cannot thank everyone enough. A friend told me how he prayed for me every morning at 6:50am. What a privilege it is to pray for others and what a privilege to know that others are praying for me so faithfully. I loved using some of what I’ve learnt over the past two years at Europe Based Orientation. Five new appointees to AIM attended and will, God willing, head to Africa over the coming year. There was great joy in being able to come along side these folks and be of some support to them. There were a few moments where I felt the loss of not being in Africa myself, but those moments were far outweighed by the joy it was to use the experiences given to me by God in the preparation of others. It was lovely to have a renewed sense of the AIM family while there and I will treasure the memories of this week and the new friends I made.”
