“During the girls’ April vacation, we travelled to Cape Town for a three-week training session on church-planting. Mornings were spent in class, the afternoon was devoted to practice. We went to a Township a few minutes away from the training centre. This was an occasion for interesting meetings and sometimes passionate discussions…we are still exploring how we can engage locally and concretely. We went to distribute soup and clothes to people sleeping outside and joined a group in the local police who meet to pray and go to the hot spots of the city to meet the people who frequent them. Finally, an elder from our church asked us if we wanted to take responsibility for a house group and the Mission Leader, who is very interested in the training that we have followed in Cape Town, would like to start something with us within the church. We are delighted!”
