“Sometime later this month we hope to have the first baptism here in Lchakwai! Pray that those who will be baptized will take a strong stand for Jesus and be a witness to others. Pray that God will show them where they need to follow the teachings of Jesus rather than Samburu traditions. Two men have been attending the [baptism] classes quite regularly. We pray that at least one of them will be ready to make this step of commitment.”
