Karin Mende

Karin has recently been to the island Nosy Be off the coast of northwest Madagascar. “One highlight of my time in Nosy Be was visiting and worshipping with a new group of Sakalava followers. After two and a half years with a special team of missionaries (TIMO) a dozen believers meet and pray regularly in their own language. To reach them, however, we had to walk an hour in heat and humidity. After years of praying for the unreached Sakalava people group, I was now deeply moved to actually worship God together with some of the first Sakalava believers. Their faces radiate joy and peace! Hallelujah!” Praise God for these new believers, and please pray that God will grow their faith.
