Pray for the 655,000 Kanembu of Chad, who are based in an isolated desert region of North West Chad, surrounding Lake Chad. Many Kanembu are businessmen, with 70-80% of Chad’s merchants being from the Kanembu tribe. Pray that the team working with the Kanembu would be bold, fuelled by a love for God and others. Ask the Lord to give them 12 Kanembu people who would be willing to listen to/read the scriptures with team members and engage in discussion on a consistent basis. Ask too that the Lord would give the local church a growing desire to partner with the team in his work.
