“As we walked down the dusty paths to the shade tree under which we hoped to share the good news with the children for a week, we had no idea how it would go. As a team, we mostly didn’t know these families in this area so well. We didn’t know who would come; we didn’t know how we would be received. But each day at least 20 children came to hear stories about Joseph, as well as many mamas who came to sit and chat with our team. I finished the week on the Friday with the story of the cross, drawing on the theme verse, ‘You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good…’ (Genesis 50:20). Pray that the children would take hold of God’s Word and that there would be further opportunities to share with them and their families.”
