Pray for the Central African Republic (CAR). Its government has recently announced a six-month state of emergency because of its current security situation. The UN reports that over 200,000 people have been displaced by fighting in the last two months. Food prices have risen, and convoys of UN aid supplies have been attacked. The country is expected to hold a second round of legislative elections today, after the first round was held at the end of December. Pray that God would bring an end to the violence and suffering in CAR. Pray that Christians in the country will be beacons of God’s love and salvation.
