“I have been occupied with teaching a few classes per week but more in planning for the new September-December general English course, the next Pastors’ Training School English Module and preparing and teaching the academic writing course for CLIR. This is a short module composed of a writing and a literature component. Jessica takes two evenings a week for literature and I the writing. It’s not a chore to teach a 3-hour lesson but it’s a challenge to get the students to the level of writing the standard university essay when they come from varied English-experience backgrounds.”
