Barry & Heather are currently in the UK on Medical Leave. Heather was due to have an operation to remove a cancer this week: “Please pray that the operation to remove the cancer will be a success, with the surgery being as least invasive as possible and that the tissue removed has clear margins of good cells surrounding the tumour. Please pray too that the lymph nodes will be clear of cancer cells & that only the first four will need to be removed…Oh yes, pray too for Barry who will have the task of keeping Heather away from the kitchen (easy), garden (hard) and work (almost impossible!) for 2-3 weeks after the operation…There is still a long way to go and no doubt there will be many emotional ups and downs on the way but we continue to put our trust in God through this. Life may be more challenging that we may want and may take us to places that we would not choose to go to but we know that we are not on our own and that God is with us every step of the way.”
