Andrew Wallace

The busyness of the Christmas season is over and I am so thankful to God for his faithfulness over the last few months… Indeed the words of the Psalmist prove true; ‘Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me’ (Psalm 54:4). God’s abundant grace with regard to my physical health has continued though I received a scare on Friday 23rd December (Closing Day at Kimatong School). Thursday night I developed a fever which had reduced but still lingered in the morning and I couldn’t walk around without feeling nauseated. However, by 10:30am I was able to sit up, by 1.00pm I was able to stand, and about 1.30 I arrived at the school after Linda kindly took me in the car, and was there in time to direct the Nativity which went excellently. The Nativity ended up being performed seven times, twice at Napak, Kimatong and Kali and once at Yei. It was wonderful to see it come together from a vague dream to something supported and enjoyed by the community.” Please pray that God will have used those Nativity plays to speak hope to the Laarim and draw those that saw them closer to knowing him.
