Pray and give to

Step Inland For Lent
Today is the beginning of Lent, and of our ‘Step Inland For Lent’ challenge! Click here to follow our prayer journey, tracing the initial footsteps of our founder, Peter Cameron Scott and then continuing his vision to go to the unreached Inlands of Chad. Today much of Chad still remains unreached with the gospel along with 380 million people across the continent of Africa. Please pray that this initiative would be used by God to raise their profile and to generate funds we can use to raise up more workers for these harvest fields.
AIM Europe
The AIM UK office’s Finance and Operations department is looking to update their processes and systems this year to help them work more effectively. Please pray for wisdom in making the right changes at the right time, and that the practicalities of making these changes will go smoothly.
AIM Europe
Today and tomorrow Gilles and Myriam from the AIM France office will be with the Geneva Bible Institute to help train mentors for the Institute’s internship programme. Please pray for Gilles and Myriam as they give input to the training, and that these mentors will help their interns to grow spiritually as they learn.
Step Inland For Lent
Last week we launched our ‘Step Inland For Lent’ challenge and prayer guide which takes supporters on a journey from Mombasa to Chad, visiting missionaries, ministries and unreached people groups on the way. Various staff members and supporters are getting involved in walking, running and other challenges to raise some of the funds we need to sustain the ministry of AIM. Please pray for more people to join us, not only to raise financial support but also to highlight the ongoing need for cross-cultural mission. If you could help please visit eu.aimint.org/stepinland
West Africa
AIM is exploring ministry in West Africa. Since many countries in the region are French-speaking the AIM France office have been involved in getting to know part of the area and what opportunities there may be for sending workers there. Please pray for AIM and the French office as we seek God’s leading, and pray that God will send more workers to the unreached peoples of West Africa.
Europe Based Orientation
Today is the UK office’s Europe Based Orientation for long term missionaries preparing to serve with AIM for the first time. Please pray that the day will be engaging and that missionaries, presenters and staff will enjoy good fellowship as we meet together. Pray that it will be a real help to our missionaries as they prepare to serve, and please pray that the UK office will support them well over the coming months while they get ready to begin their first assignments.
AIM Europe
Give thanks that Nana Koomson began working for AIM last week. She will be helping us raise support for the Ministry of the Mission fund, which is used for our mobilising work and church engagement activity. Please pray for her as she learns more about her role and AIM and gets to know the rest of the UK office team over the coming weeks.
Geoff Donaldson
Praise God that Geoff Donaldson has raised enough support to have been able to work for AIM two days per week since November. Please continue to pray that God will provide the rest of the funds needed for him to increase his working days. Please also pray for Geoff as he adapts to the role of Mission Advisor and seeks to develop AIM’s work in Ireland.
