Graham and Fiona

Graham and Fiona* are in a creative access location they fondly refer to as ‘Wonderland’. They moved there several years ago after serving African churches in medical outreach in different African locations. They continue to use their medical skills to serve Wonderlanders.

During most of their time in Wonderland they have had team members serving alongside them. Through the wide range of relationships they and their team members have developed in their town, they have had multiple opportunities to share the good news that is found in Jesus. Groups have started to study God’s Word. The Holy Spirit is at work!

Could you partner with Graham and Fiona in this work?

Latest Prayer News

Ruth* works on an Indian Ocean Island seeking to share the gospel with people who have never had it explained to them. This weekend she and the local church plan to host a church picnic at the beach. Due to poor weather conditions, this was called off last week so please pray that the weather and other factors will enable it to go ahead. Pray that this will be an encouraging time of fellowship. Please also pray for favourable dispositions for those in authority whom Ruth is reliant upon to renew her visa this month. Pray that this process will be smooth, and her visa will be renewed without hindrance.

Graham and Fiona* are in a creative access location they fondly refer to as ‘Wonderland’.  They returned to ‘Wonderland’ last week. Pray that they will cope well with the heat and that God will bless them with sustained good health and energy to enable them to resume winding down their ministry in Wonderland and prepare the logistics of saying goodbye. Pray that as they approach their retirement God will provide local believers to take their place to continue their ministry and that many more will hear and continue hearing the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ.

Ruth* works on an Indian Ocean Island seeking to share the gospel with people who have never had it explained to them. In her culture’s context, being an unmarried woman past your twenties is deemed very shameful. One of Ruth’s colleagues actually wept when learning that Ruth is single. Give thanks that Ruth is content in her singleness and that this has enabled her to explain her spiritual relationship with Jesus, made possible through Christ’s death and resurrection. Pray that Ruth will continue to treasure her Lord in times of loneliness or perceived shame in her community and that the joy of a relationship with Jesus will be attractive to her friends.

Rae* is serving in a creative access location. Pray for her friend Sarah* who has finalised her divorce and moved to a larger city to start afresh. In the short time Rae has known her she’s seen Sarah get married and divorced. She has sought the teachings of her culture’s religion to find healing from the pain and brokenness she’s experienced. Pray that Jesus will show Himself to her as the only true source of eternal healing and that she will accept Him as her loving saviour.

Amelia* serves in West Africa, sharing the gospel with those in a region that is very opposed to the message of Jesus Christ. Give thanks that she has enjoyed progress in her language learning and knowledge of local culture. Pray that she will have more opportunities to meet and befriend local women who will be sympathetic to her limited local language skills but who will be happy to get to know her and meet with her more regularly.

Creative Access

We use ‘Creative Access’ to refer to nations, areas or ministries where there is great hostility towards Christianity and where traditional ‘missionary work’ is not possible. Workers, therefore, need to be ‘creative’ in how they proclaim the liberating news of Jesus Christ. In North Africa alone, 200 million people from 472 unreached people groups are unreached with the gospel. That’s 200 million people unknowingly heading for a Christ-less eternity. LEARN MORE

Healthcare

We long to see Health Professionals practising, modelling and mentoring competent, compassionate medicine, but doing so in places where they will influence unreached people groups for Christ. LEARN MORE
