We exist to help you, and your church share the good news of Jesus with African peoples who have the least opportunity to hear.
Close your eyes for a moment and imagine Christ-centred churches springing up among all African peoples. Vibrant churches, deeply rooted in their cultures and reproducing. That’s our vision, and it is what motivates us to press on!
Now, you might be wondering, “What drives AIM?” Well, our values are the heartbeat of everything we do:
Christ-Centred: Jesus is our everything.
Church Connections: We’re all about strengthening local churches, both in Africa and worldwide.
Caring Communities: Love in action is our motto.
InCarnational: We don’t just visit; we immerse ourselves in the cultures we serve.
InterCultural: Diversity isn’t just welcomed; it’s celebrated!
Collaboration: We’re better together.
Creativity: We’re not afraid to think outside the box to share God’s love.
In 1895 God gave a man named Peter Cameron Scott a vision to reach the unreached peoples of Africa with the gospel. That vision sparked the start of Africa Inland Mission, and over 125 years later, we’re still fanning those flames!
But we’re not doing this alone. We believe in the power of partnership. That’s why we work hand-in-hand with African leaders and churches. It’s beautiful to see churches around the world mobilised for mission, sending people to join diverse teams proclaiming the good news, making disciples, and training the next generation of leaders.
Does this sound like something you’d like to be part of? Great! Keep reading to find out how you can get involved. Remember, this isn’t just our mission – it’s God’s mission, and he wants to use you!
