Elle is part of a medical ministry team on the Indian Ocean Islands. There have recently been some tensions around a savings group that some women are part of. Community savings groups are a common way of saving money on the Islands as there are no banks outside the capital, and any money you have in your house can be requested by a relative if they have a need. You all pay the organiser each month, then one person each month gets a big lump sum that they can use for a project like housebuilding. The groups usually work well, but there can be problems if several people want the money the same month, or don’t pay in as promised, or the money isn’t paid out at all. Unfortunately, there have been issues in a group with two believers, and there is now anger and mistrust. Amazingly, one of the women is leading the way in forgiveness and trying to maintain unity. Praise God for the fruit that Elle has seen in her life. Please ask that she would remain gracious, and that there would be reconciliation between these two women.
