Ruth* works on an Indian Ocean Island, seeking to share the gospel with people who have never had it explained to them. She is currently on home assignment and tonight is sharing with her home church what the Lord has been doing. Pray for help in presenting and a prayerful response. In her time at home, please ask the Lord that she would manage her diary well, fitting in as many appointments with people as she can, but without being overwhelmed, and still maintaining some rhythms of rest. Please ask for good health, stamina and energy as she will be seeing and staying with lots of different people and living out of a suitcase. Pray for good reconnections and for her to cope with changes/culture shock well. Pray too that she would spend time with Jesus and know His faithfulness amidst all the travel and rootlessness. Thank the Lord for couple of catch-up phone calls with her neighbours Nora and Sonya back on the island and ask for these friendships to be maintained while she is away.
