Derek writes: “I have just heard that, after over four years of slow progress, the three-year postgraduate medical training in Accident & Emergency Medicine has now been approved. We can now recruit doctors to start the three-year training programme very shortly. Praise God! This means that we will now be committed to staying at the University until at least mid-2020 so that I can finish training the pioneer students… Please pray for selection and recruitment of the pioneer students; that I show wisdom, make godly choices and am a good witness as my workload will increase; and pray that the postgraduate programme… will result in reduced numbers of young people dying needlessly from preventable and treatable accidents and illnesses.”
