Cees and Mirjam serve in Kotido, Uganda, to engage the Karimojong people for Christ. They are currently facing a drought, and they see crops withering in the bone-dry, rock-hard soil. It is a source of great concern for them. Christians tend to see this as a punishment from God. A light shower last week seemed like a sign, but itâs really just a drop in the bucket, so please pray for the provision of rain. Ask that the Lord might sustain Cees and Mirjam as they discover more of the dark side of life in this community. This causes them to wrestle with questions like âWhat am I doing here? Where do I even start? Whatâs the point of my work? Am I actually making an impact?â Please pray for spiritual protection, perseverance and the faith to believe that their labours are not in vain.
