The Thumb Piano is a musical instrument that is found and played in many African countries. There are lots of different versions of it found all across the continent.
The instrument is held in both hands and played by plucking the metal keys with the fingers and thumbs.
As well as being used as a lead instrument in African music and traditional storytelling African people can often be found playing the thumb piano while walking.
