Ruth* works on an Indian Ocean Island, seeking to share the gospel with people who have never had it explained to them. About a year ago, a local couple’s baby died just a few hours after being born. The father had shown interest in knowing God and felt the pregnancy had been a real gift from Him as his wife had become pregnant after being prayed for, following many years of infertility. So, it was extra hard that the baby didn’t survive, and the father hasn’t shown as much interest in studying the Bible since. Despite this, Ruth’s regular visits to the wife have developed into a nice friendship and last month the wife gave birth to a baby boy. Give thanks for this wonderful gift and ask that both parents would seek God’s face as they marvel at this miracle.
