Mat and Katy Linley were based in Kijabe, Kenya, where Mat was the Assistant Superintendent at Rift Valley Academy and Katy was involved in Family Health Clinical Officer (FHCO) training at Kijabe Hospital. They are now on home assignment before completing their service with AIM at the end of the year. Do pray for them and their family in this big transition. Katy is hoping to get some GP work soon and is also exploring teaching opportunities. Mat has just completed his final assignment for a Masters degree in Risk, Crisis and Resilience Management. He still has to write his dissertation, but has also begun job hunting. Pray for wisdom and clear direction in that. Back in Kenya, a new cohort of FHCO students started yesterday (8 September). A*, due to join from the Nuba mountains of Sudan, is expected to be delayed due to paperwork problems, so please pray that this does not take long. Katy is hoping to return to Kijabe in December for graduation of those who finished earlier this year.
