Tim has been preparing to head out to North Africa but has been waiting on God’s provision. He reflects on how challenging it can be when we see the apple hanging on the tree, ripening, yet we are not yet permitted to pick it. Just as Tim began to expect that he might need to wait a few more months to go, God stepped in and orchestrated a remarkable change. Alongside the steady growth in monthly donations that had already begun, a significant new contribution emerged, bringing his monthly budget into perfect balance. Praise God! On 27th September, Tim had his farewell service at his home church and plans to leave today. Please pray for him as he says goodbyes, seeks to build relationships with his team and adjusts to his new surroundings. Tim will be communicating extensively in French, which is not his first language. This can be quite exhausting, along with all the other transitions happening simultaneously, so ask that the Lord would strengthen and encourage him in the days ahead.
