Pray for the 12,000 Jiye of South Sudan who live in the arid, flat lowlands of the Southeast corner of South Sudan. Praise the Lord that there is active evangelism taking place in the region, especially through visiting teams. God is opening up new areas for ministry among cattle camps, and old churches are currently being restored. Additionally, an Oral Bible Translation programme will be launching soon for the area. The Jiye are part of long-standing tribal tensions which have brought much grief and instability within the community. Please pray that, through these gospel works, the Lord may bring reconciliation, lasting hope and peace, and use the Jiye as His witnesses.
