Abigail has just finished her three-month medical elective with Kijabe Hospital in Kenya. She has rotated through three different specialities: ICU, Emergency Department and Outpatient Department – all of which she has loved and have been helpful in growing her knowledge. Praise God for the encouragement it was to work with staff who were open in sharing the gospel and praying for patients.  It has affirmed in her own heart the privilege and calling from God in being a doctor and how this can be used for discipleship, as well as opening her eyes to the sacrifice and trust involved in overseas mission work. Please pray for her as she has been offered the opportunity to get involved in a research project with a visiting missionary from the US. Ask that the Lord will use all that she has experienced to make her a blessing to those at home, and that she will gain clarity on where he would have her serve in the future.
