Rex and Ruby

Rex and Ruby* have served in a variety of different creative access locations, seeking to share the gospel with those who have yet to hear it.

In 2017 they moved to a new location, which is a popular tourist resort for locals in their country. When they moved there, they knew of no Christian believers in that area. Over recent years they have encountered some followers of Jesus but those they’ve met live isolated and difficult lives, without the encouragement of local fellowship.

To meet more people in their community, as well as a means to contribute to their society and to give them reason to stay in country, Rex & Ruby have set up an English Language centre and teach English to professionals. They also lead a team, with team members able to serve through teaching, and also through a wide range of seasonal work available in their resort town.

They are seeking through all their encounters and through the witness of their team, to share more of Christ’s love and model lives lived with hope to their friends, students, neighbours and wider community.

We use ‘Creative Access’ to refer to nations, areas or ministries where there is great hostility towards Christianity and where traditional ‘missionary work’ is not possible. In North Africa alone, 200 million people from 472 unreached people groups are unreached with the gospel. That’s 200 million people unknowingly heading for a Christ-less eternity. LEARN MORE
