David and Patricia

David and Patricia have been working with another Mission agency in Kenya for 9 years. They have been involved in building and maintaining different Christian FM radio stations across east and central Africa.

In early 2025 they moved to Tanzania. In Tanzania theyโ€™ll be partnering with different churches and Christian organisations to see Christian radio stations come up across Tanzania. So to give the church a tool in reaching out to many.

Latest Prayer News

Today is the final AIM โ€˜Mission in Actionโ€™ event, in Ireland. Give thanks for the successful events in Edinburgh and Cardiff in recent weeks and pray that this final event will attract many people who are eager to learn of and support what God is doing through the Africa Inland Church Tanzania (AICT). Pray for Bishop Phillipo as he speaks and pray that his words will have a lasting effect on those who hear them.

Timo and Laura serve in Finland among the Congolese refugee population, sharing Jesus with them, and equipping Christian refugees to reach out to the Finns they live among. Finland is often labelled as a Christian nation because it has a state church, however, many Finns would not profess faith in Jesus. Pray for Timo and Laura as they help those, they interact with distinguish between cultural Christianity and what it means to truly know and accept Jesus as saviour. Pray that God will bless their friendships with displaced Congolese people and that opportunities to discuss faith will increase.ย

This Saturday 11th May, AIM will be hosting events the first of three Mission in Action events in Edinburgh, during which Bishop Philipo Mafuja Magwano from the Pwani diocese of the Africa Inland Church Tanzania (AICT) will share how AIM and churches in Tanzania have partnered together to further the gospel in that country. There is still time to book tickets to attend. Pray that even more people will want to hear more of how God is working through the AICT and will attend the event. Pray for Godโ€™s peace to be on Bishop Phillipo as he travels to the UK and prepares to speak.ย

Today AIM Mission Advisors are travelling to attend the Keswick Convention with the AIM interactive stand, ready to share with those attending, about how they can get involved in God’s global mission. Pray for Sheona, Phil and Debbie as they engage with conventioneers about what God is doing in Africa. Pray that God will call church leaders and individuals to investigate how they and their church can participate in God’s work reaching the unreached in Africa and across the globe.ย

Following our theme of giving thanks this new year, stop to thank God for the person or people who first shared Jesus with you. Pray for God to raise up people ready to go to those yet to hear the good news.ย
