“I continue to be on Home Assignment with AIM International, which involved meeting supporters and speaking at various places to report on the work I’ve been involved with, and to thank people for their support. It is almost four years since my last Home Assignment, so I have a lot of catching up to do, including trips to various places. So I will be working officially with AIM until next July, when I expect to retire. Over the coming months I hope to undertake and English as a Second Language course in order to be involved with the Diaspora of Africans and others who are living in Scotland. From next year there are also some areas of AIM’s work that I can help with alongside our Scotland Mobiliser Ruth Box. Having now left Chad for good, the Lord is leading me in a different and challenging way but I know that he goes before me and is with me through all the changes. Pray that I will be open to whatever he would have me do in the future.”
