The Tanala are divided into two subgroups: the Tanala Menabe in the mountainous north and the Tanala Ikongo dwelling in the more accessible southern part.  Tanala Menabe villages are isolated.  They are built on mountain tops and are hidden in the dense forest. Pray that God will open more doors to missionaries to reach the isolated Tanala Menabe and that despite their seclusion in the forest, God will speak to them though His Holy Spirit and that they will meet Jesus for themselves.
