Rex and Ruby* have served in a variety of creative access locations, seeking to share the gospel with those who have yet to hear it.  In April, a teenage boy on one of their teams was bitten by a venomous snake while hiking with friends. He recovered, but was in hospital for several days and needed multiple doses of anti-venom injections. While in hospital, he was visited by Abe*, a young man who believed back in 2020 and has had some ups and downs in his walk with the Lord. During that visit, Abe said he wanted to get more serious about his faith and he began sharing with some of his friends. Abe then ran into Harry* (a childhood friend who lives in the same neighbourhood) and shared the Truth with him. Harry showed interest in what he’d heard, so Abe asked some of the team to meet with them to explain more. On the third time of meeting together, Harry decided to follow Jesus! Recently, Abe baptised Harry with a small group of believers in the sea. Abe and Harry plan to meet once a week to study the Word together. Then they want to meet a second day of the week to go out sharing with their friends or people they meet and talk to them about Jesus! Praise the Lord that He chose to redeem part of the pain and distress arising from the snake bite to involve this teenage boy, his family and team in encouraging a new believer and drawing another soul into the Kingdom of Light.
