The 20 million Fulani of West Africa are a culturally diverse and widely dispersed group, spread across the continent West to East in a band just South of the Sahara Desert. The Fulani were the first group in West Africa to convert to Islam and Islamic clerics are held in high esteem. Thank God for the small church planted amongst the Fulani and ask for it to grow and mature. Pray for the young leaders currently being discipled – that they too would mature in their faith and that this would seep into all areas of their lives. Ask particularly for them to understand forgiveness and to put it into practice in their daily lives.
