Edward* serves in a closed country where there are very few Christians. Most of his team are away on home leave over the summer. Pray for rest and refreshment for them all, and especially one family who have had a particularly hard time. There are also tensions with the organisation where Edward and another team member work. A financial crisis means they probably won’t be paid for a while, and this adds to the feeling that their contributions and efforts aren’t valued. However, alternative employment possibilities were threatened with sabotage by their current employer. This is sadly representative of the cultural attitude towards foreigners. Please pray for the team to be physically, emotionally, and spiritually healthy. Pray for wisdom and guidance from the Lord regarding the relationship with this employer.
