Claudia Middendorf

Sent from Baptist Church, Frankfurt

Claudia is based in Beira, Mozambique, and serves the local church in the area of leadership training. She also continues to work in making helpful Christian literature available.

She began serving with AIM in Mozambique as a church worker in 1987, before working as a literature developer in 1997. She was AIM’s Unit Leader for Mozambique from 2008-2022, working to encourage, support and help AIM’s missionaries; making sure that legal and administrative requirements were being met; and liaising with local churches and like-minded organisations. After 14 years of being Unit Leader for Mozambique, she now continues to support the new Unit Leader part-time in the area of administration.

Besides this, she has returned to church ministry, helping to develop and train local leaders. She hopes to see more good Christian literature become available to train and support ministry among women and youth in the local churches.
