“Over the past year or so, I have been wrestling with God as I have become more and more aware of Him nudging me and showing me through various ways that my time on the Islands was coming to an end. It has been an incredibly painful few months as I have taken time to work through this. However, just as I knew for those 12 years that I was meant to be on the Islands, I now know in my heart that the time has also come to say goodbye to the Islands…Please pray as I now begin the journey of finishing up on the Islands and transitioning into a new chapter. Please pray that I finish well. I plan to finish up by the end of January 2018. Pray for Alice and Francis who I have worked with on the Islands for many years. This will be hard news for them. Pray for the ladies who we have been discipling over this past year that God would continue the work that He has begun in them and that they will continue to grow in their faith and will also disciple others. Please pray for me as I say goodbye to many people that I have come to know and love over these past 12 years and as I pack up my little house on the Islands that God provided for me. It will be hard. Please pray for clear direction as I look at what is next.”
