Prières quotidiennes

Rianne van Leeuwen

Rianne van Leeuwen is a Mission Mobiliser for Africa Inland Mission in the Netherlands. Pray for Rianne as she supports an enquirer applying to join AIM Netherlands. Pray that God will continue to reveal His will to him and that the Lord will bless his journey towards sharing the gospel long term in Africa.

Graham and Fiona

Graham and Fiona* are in a creative access location they fondly refer to as ‘Wonderland’.  They returned to ‘Wonderland’ last week. Pray that they will cope well with the heat and that God will bless them with sustained good health and energy to enable them to resume winding down their ministry in Wonderland and prepare the logistics of saying goodbye. Pray that as they approach their retirement God will provide local believers to take their place to continue their ministry and that many more will hear and continue hearing the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ.    *Name changed for security reasons.

Annemarie Boks

Annemarie Boks works in Adi, DR Congo as a Director of an Aids Awareness Program established by the CECA 20 (Communauté Evangélique au Centre de l’Afrique) church. Today is the final day of the CECA 20 Church’s General Assembly where new church leaders will be elected. Pray that there will be unity in voting and that there will be a clear and unanimous outcome.

Fulani

The unreached Fulani people live in West Africa.  PrayAfrica.org writes: “Pray for four Fulani followers who face different challenges, especially in regard to their faith. I have started a cross-cultural training with them. Our first meeting was held at the Fulani conference in the South for 4 days. We plan to meet each month and intentionally call them each week to see how they are doing with the training. Pray for this cross-cultural ministry training program that is aimed at preparing them for the cross-cultural church ministry task ahead.”

AIM EU Office

Today the AIM EU leadership team are engaged in a full day of meetings to discuss processes, policies and other important matters relating to the support of AIM missionaries and the running of the AIM EU office as a whole. Pray that God will give them clarity of thought and communication, a personal capacity to take in all that is discussed and wisdom to discern God’s will for AIM EU’s work in the coming months and years.

Tim and Heather Matthews

Tim Matthews began serving as Director for the AIM Asia Pacific Mobilising Region in February 2024, leading a small team in Australia and coordinating teams in Hong Kong and New Zealand.  He has been waiting many months for his Australian visa to be granted and is still waiting. Pray that his visa will be granted today, as he is currently working nights with his team in Australia and is eager to be able to work alongside them in-country and in daylight as soon as possible.

UK Church Leaders

Pray for Church leaders across the UK as they work to guide their congregations to grow in faith in Jesus Christ and live out their faith in their daily lives. Pray for those Church leaders who are also supporting AIM missionaries to be refreshed in their passion for seeing their church members mobilised to bring the gospel to those who have never heard it.

Teaching in Mission Online Event

Pray for God to bring many people with past or present teaching experience to attend AIM’s ‘Teaching in Mission’ online event on 8th June 2024. The online event is aimed at anyone with past or current teaching experience who might be interested in using their experience to teach with AIM overseas. 20% of parents have to leave the mission field due to the educational needs of their children and over 50% of AIM missionaries have children. With this in mind, please pray that this event would result in more teachers beginning to consider cross-cultural mission and that AIM would be able to guide those conversations well.

Ruth Mahood

Ruth Mahood serves as a counsellor with AIM Care at Tumaini Counselling Centre in Nairobi. Praise God that her work permit has been approved. This is a big relief and means that she can legally reside and work in Kenya for the next three years! Pray for Ruth as she enjoys this sense of stability. Pray for all those she counsels at Tumaini, that they will find safety, rest and healing in the arms of God the Father and will be supported well to reflect on and progress in, their missionary experience and calling moving forwards.
