Challenge

Over 125 years ago AIM founder Peter Scott walked 2,600 miles in a year to take the gospel inland in Africa.

Today, many people in remote areas of this vast continent are still living in spiritual darkness.

AIM is stepping up its efforts to reach them with the good news of Jesus by sending new workers, inspiring local Christians to share the gospel, and more.

Will you join us in this venture and walk, run, or cycle
100 miles during Lent and raise funds for AIM?

What is our goal?

There are 1,000 people groups in Africa who are waiting to hear the good news of Jesus.

We want to send new mission workers to places of spiritual darkness and equip local African church partners to engage in God’s mission.

Together this Lent we can make new tracks for the gospel in Africa.

Why step inland?

Scott walked 2,600 miles in a single year to establish a network of mission stations from Mombasa to Chad. Scott’s vision was to see Africans hear and respond to Jesus’ love.

The goal of our Step Inland campaign is to inspire Christians like you to respond to the challenge of walking, running, praying, and giving to AIM initiatives for reaching the unreached in remote parts of Africa.
