Inland Mission

Scottish Conference

Join us at our Scottish Conference to celebrate and learn about what God is doing in Africa and among African people.

The Scottish Conference is an opportunity to celebrate and learn about what God is doing in Africa and among African people. As well as our keynote speaker, there will be opportunities to hear from and meet with missionaries, and share in prayer, worship and fellowship with the wider AIM family in Scotland.

  • The year of African mobilisation - My family and I started our missionary work in the islands off the coast of East Africa and stayed there for 10 years. Our hearts were for the Islanders, to make disciples among them and to see churches planted. Heavily Islamic, the islands were almost totally void of Christians and churches. Except for the Malagasies.
  • Meet our new mobiliser - I’m Gareth Jones, and I’m married to Helen, who works as a GP. We live in Upton Park in East London, in the shadow of the old West Ham football ground. We have five wonderful children aged from 17 down to six.
  • Why bother with church planting? - In Tanzania, AIM have established the Institute of Bible & Ministry (IBM), a focal point of our passion to see Africans mobilised to share the gospel...
  • How do you prepare for mission? - New member Amelia* shares about her interest in mission and about how she is preparing, spiritually, financially and emotionally to serve.
