Verena has recently been visiting theological colleges for research for her PhD. “After three months ‘on the road’ to seven different places in five provinces and many types of beds, I was able to return to Pemba at the beginning of November… And how wonderful it was to finally get back to Pemba and then to receive such a warm welcome from my students. I had kept in contact with some of them during my trip and could now see how they progressed. I already look forward to the next semester, starting in March, in which I will be teaching ‘Introduction to Systematic Theology’ and ‘Foundations of the Christian Faith’. It will be my first time to teach either of them (in English or Portuguese) so I would be grateful for your prayers for the preparations.”
