In 2020, the UK received 37,550 applications for asylum (including dependents). This is around three times less than the number of applications received each by Germany (124,380), France (103,370) and Spain (108,225). Pray that those who have fled their homes and sought sanctuary here would know God’s peace as they wait to hear about the status of their claims.
