“I met with the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda and had a precious time of fellowship with him sharing our hearts and dreams for the church. He was ‘enthroned’ as Archbishop in early March and two weeks later churches were closed. This season is obviously not what he anticipated when he took on this significant role but maybe the Lord called him for such a time as this. We shared the opportunities that Covid-19 has presented to the church here and globally and believe this is a time for the church to refocus and strategize. I look forward to working closer with him in the months ahead as we seek to see the Church of Uganda engaged in what God is doing across the world. Pray for the church to be a voice of hope and reason in this hard time. Pray for a movement of missionaries from Sub-Saharan Africa to the world!”
