“[A few weeks ago] Pete visited a region of Kenya where there is huge medical need as well as very little gospel presence. We praise God that the trip was a very positive one and that Pete and his colleagues were able to meet with a number of key medical officials and discuss what role Kijabe Hospital might have in supporting the healthcare of the area. We are so thankful that travelling under the good name of Kijabe Hospital meant Pete had a warm welcome and saw many open doors to the possibility of future partnerships. Very recently a colleague applied for a significant financial grant to enable this partnership to develop and flourish, but we continue to wait on the Lord for his timing and provision of the necessary resources. Please praise God for a positive and safe time for Pete while visiting this area. Please pray for ongoing momentum and continued positive relationships as plans move forward. Please pray that God will call just the right people to be part of a new team planning to be based there, and that he will provide the necessary resources to enable it to grow.
